Notice of Commissioner Workshop

The Commissioners are going to hold a workshop to discuss the potential designs and locations for the Middle Passage signage. Currently there is consideration being given to town owned grassy areas to east of the Ferry parking lot and the grassy area to the west of the Ferry parking lot entrance beside the customs house. At this time the living shoreline/wetland area is not being considered.

The Workshop will be held before the Commissioners regular meeting on May 10, 2022 at 5 pm in the town building meeting room.

There will be a pre-workshop gathering at 4:30 pm on the same day at the Ferry landing to review the potential areas to inform the 5 pm discussion.

The next COMMISSIONERS OF OXFORD will be held on May 10, 2022 at 6 pm in person at 101 Market Street. An option to participate Virtually will also be available and the link will be posted here prior to the meeting.
