The Oxford Library is an independent all volunteer library whose mission is to promote reading for all ages. We are situated next to the town hall on 103 Market Street. Each year we fund scholarships for two Chesapeake Community College students.

Library hours are Monday thru Friday 10 AM to 4 PM and Saturday 10AM to 1PM (Closed on Holidays). Phone Number 410-226-5727.

There are three annual book sales each year during Town events

• Oxford Day – the last Saturday in April
• Book Mart – the first Saturday in October
• Christmas on the Creek – date to be determined each year

Recent News

There are new rental books and free loan books for Oxford residents.  There also are sale books available to everyone. This summer we have a Young Readers Book Program. It is open to children 12 and under.
