The Town is currently in the process of rehabilitating the main water line that runs down Morris Street and serves the properties in the historic District. The work is intended to be complete by the end of 2020. The temporary above ground blue lines will be covered with Orange Blankets through the month of November to both protect the lines and also to bring attention to the fact that there are lines run above ground and people should be cautious of the uneven ground. Although this work is an inconvenience for all and not the view we are a custom to seeing in Oxford, it is a crucially important project and one for which the town was successful in receiving MDE Water Quality Loan/Grant Financing, reducing the cost to the citizens by half.
