The town completed the three plus year upgrade to its Wastewater Treatment System in 2022, replacing the historic pond system with a state of the art Enhanced Nutrient Removal System. This new plant will produce effluent that will enter Town Creek after a process that will reduce Nitrogen and Phosphorus to the State’s lowest minimums, and which will greatly improve water quality in the creek.
